Young Aussie Writers’ awards (YAWAs):

A chance to win a great prize pack, be published in Comet, Explore or Challenge magazines, receive a certificate and a small cash prize.

You can write stories, articles, song lyrics, poems, reports, cartoons or plays.

Eight winners will be chosen from each of the three categories:
Comet ages 5-7 – maximum length 300 words;
Explore ages 8-10 – maximum length 500 words;
Challenge ages 11-14 – maximum length 600 words.
